How this site makes money
Short version: some links here are affiliate links. If you book through one, we get a commission and you pay exactly the same price.
What an affiliate link is
Some links on this site point to GetYourGuide and other booking platforms and carry a tracking code identifying this site as the referrer. If you click one and then book, the platform pays us a percentage of their commission.
What it costs you
Nothing. The price you pay is the platform's normal price. The commission comes out of the platform's margin, not out of your booking. You are also free to ignore every link here and book directly with the operator — the guide works fine that way and we name the operators so you can.
What it does and does not influence
It does not influence what we tell you. This guide states plainly that the cheaper amphibian boat is the better choice for families and tight schedules, that walking the shoreline and Diamond Beach costs nothing at all, and that on some days the boats are not worth taking. Advice that steered you toward the expensive option regardless would be worth nothing to you and, before long, nothing to us.
What it does influence: the pages that exist. Topics people book on get written first. We think that is a fair thing to be open about.
